This is probably the closest I’ll get to feeling the tension and effort of being an Iron Chef. I’ll never be good in the kitchen, my knife skills are pitiful. I’d like to consider Cook, Serve, Delicious on the same playing field. Playing each brother with a joystick was genius. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was praised for the controls. Orders that come in have a number assigned to them so you can select them quickly. When making a burger: M for meat, L for lettuce. Each ingredient matches up to a keypress. The developer chose the most obvious choice on the conversion. With this fan version the controls were translated to keyboard. It used the same sprites from the Japanese game. Vertigo Games created a fan version about cooking. Meaning the game was originally created with a controller in mind.
